Back in 1999, Irvine Burns Club was one of the first Burns Clubs in Scotland to have an online presence - this brought memorable contributions to Annual Celebrations; in 2003, Chinese Channel Europe filmed the Annual Celebration for a food programme broadcast across Europe later that year, in 2008, Talisker provided sponsorship in the form of very quaffable aqua vitae, and, in 2009, Cerys Matthews (a founding member of Catatonia) contributed to the entertainment. We hope the new-look website prompts even more online visitors to enjoy what is on offer.
The new site has more images and more resources, in more readily accessible formats, along with all the information gathered over two decades - look out for several new features (and expect further items in coming months).
Each page footer has a link back to the top of the page for those who wish to stay longer on any page.
